Instructions
  1. Prepare quinoa per package instructions. 1/2-3/4 cup of dry quinoa will yield at least 1 cup of cooked quinoa. Can prepare this ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze until ready for use.
  2. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl; ground beef, pork, eggs, milk, onion, cooked quinoa, dried herbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix by hand or with rubber spatula until well combined.
  3. Combine glaze ingredient into a small bowl and mix until well combined.
  4. Lightly grease or spray meatloaf pan or form into loaf and place on baking sheet. Pour and spread over top of meatloaf.
  5. Bake at 350F for 1 hour. Once baking is complete let sit at room temp. for 5-10 minutes to let meatloaf set before cutting.
